"undefinite"
thawed hearts, surrendering, accepting, healing
fences and partitions fall into a new feeling
Shadows of time's tail chased itself round & round,
memory's art piece songs clinging like web tightly bound
coming back to life smiling at glimmering sparkles warm & pat you on the back
through the dark we fence the shadows find our way out get back on track
the river flows no matter the view, the when, where, what, how or who
the air gets moving carrying waves, in silence the dropped point of view...yabba dabba doooooooooooooo
"the stream is a mystery"
"Say hello in there..."
are we all so forgettable?
Life gets busy...and passes us by...
are we all so forgettable?
The cold dry winds chip away at all that we hold dear...
we forget that we ...don't know ourselves.
Who we are now will become but a whisper...
we don't know .......that we can forget ourselves.
The silence of the night, a feeling of......... emptiness,
a curtain hides the light from a man who holds on tight,
"elegant echoes of the universe" express ..............emptiness,
the man, the "holds on tight," the light, and the curtain are ONE more-or-less.
The stream is a mystery
all that you know is before your mind's eye
"I" reside in functioning memory
Who sees the seer, who sees the "I"
"Weird poem thing"
drinking coffee like never before...
shudder to think when I blink closing the door..
catch a phrase on the winds beneath..
the cost to be lost, a tooth for some teeth..

i like to think that we are all unforgettable... but i am not so sure that is true.... most of us will be forgotten. just think of how few are we remembered... Is that a good thing? i enjoyed your poetry :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
ReplyDeleteThat line, "are we all so forgettable?" was a song lyrical concept thing I was working with. When the poem was written that line surfaced in my noggin. Yeah, it was based on how we're forgettable, whether alive or dead...we're forgettable.,,,its true. Whether its good or bad, I don't know....but a lot of us look back and wish we would've remembered loved ones while they were still around. That's another application of that line.
Thanks again for reading!!!
